Störtebeker Braumanufaktur
Störtebeker Braumanufaktur stands for more than 800 years of brewing tradition in the Hanseatic city of Stralsund. Taken over by the Nordmann family after German reunification, it now brews a wide range of craft beer specialties, including non-alcoholic beers and its own creations such as the Atlantik-Ale. Its beers regularly win awards at international competitions such as the World Beer Cup and the European Beer Star.
Site 01 of the EAT BEER Platform
Brewing in Stralsund produces brewers' spent grain every day. The brewery is the first producer on the EAT BEER Platform: it supplies the spent grain directly to the modules and provides space and utilities on site. Through the Störtebeker brewpubs, the new foods reach regional hospitality venues. This closes the full loop at the very first site, from side stream to plate.
